Black Clover chapter 357 spoilers hint at Yuno's unfortunate fate in the Judgment Day

Black Clover chapter 357 spoilers hint

The recent release of Black Clover chapter 357 has revealed spoilers that mainly center around Captain Jack the Ripper of the Green Mantis. Nonetheless, an observant fan has pointed out that Mangaka Yuki Tabata may have dropped a significant clue in the upcoming chapter about the events of the final arc, starting with Judgment Day.

In the preceding chapter, the Magic Knights faced a challenging battle against Lucius's angels. However, Yuno came to their aid by using his newly discovered spell combination with Wind Spirit Sylph, called Neverland. This created a subspace where Yuno could control the flow of both time and magic. By doing so, the Clover Kingdom gained an advantage over the Paladins.

Black Clover chapter 357 spoilers hint at Yuno's defeat to Lucius

In the recent spoilers for Black Clover chapter 357, fans discovered how Lucius Zogratis managed to halt Yuno's Spirit of Zephyr with just his hand. Lucius exuded confidence in his ability to win, as he believed that Yuno would not be able to sustain his spell Neverland for an extended period of time, making Lucius the likely victor. However, despite Lucius's bold claims, Yuno's ability to slice off one of Lucius's antlers led some to suspect that Yuno still had tricks up his sleeve. Additionally, it was revealed that Lucius's hand trembled while holding Yuno's sword, indicating that the battle might not be as straightforward as he originally boasted.

A fan of the anime Black Clover on Twitter with the handle @Mikey281102 recently made an interesting observation. The fan drew a parallel between a scene in the manga and a possible hint about the fate of one of the main characters, Yuno. During the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, Asta fought against the Devil King Lucifero and was initially unable to use his anti-magic attack as it was stopped by Lucifero's hand. However, Asta later cut off one of Lucifero's horns and ultimately defeated him. On the other hand, in Yuno's battle against Lucius, the events seem to occur in reverse. Yuno initially overpowered Lucius with his Neverland spell and cut off one of his antlers. However, Lucius is still shown to be able to defend himself even after being overpowered. This could potentially imply that Yuno's fate in the series may be different from what fans initially anticipated as the second main character.

This article contains spoilers from the Black Clover manga.

@Mikey281102 believes that the reason Lucius has yet to fully display his powers is evidence that he possesses multiple strategies to defeat Yuno and could continue to do so in future chapters. As a result, the manga creator Yuki Tabata may be hinting that Yuno is likely to lose, and even potentially face death, only to be reborn as a Paladin and later encounter Asta as part of Lucius's army. It's worth noting that Yuno has previously been incorporated into the enemy forces during the Elf Reincarnation Arc.

The comparison between Lucius and Lucifero is evident in the portrayal of their attitudes towards humans. Lucius recognizes the value of humans and treats them as genuine opponents, while Lucifero views humans as insignificant pests and holds himself above them. This arrogant outlook ultimately leads to Lucifero's defeat, making Lucius the superior villain and giving him an advantage over the series' protagonists.
