A brief recap of Dandadan chapter 101
Momo attempted to save Vamola from the aliens, despite Serpo warning her that Vamola was an enemy. Serpo used his energy shield to protect Momo while she treated Vamola's wounds. However after a Fierce battle Momo Was Exhausted and Had only a small Amount of spiritual Power left. She used it to save Vamola and was thrown back by the aliens' attack.
Later on, Aira, Jiji, Okarun, and others were alerted by their receivers that Momo had transferred her life force to Vamola. The scene then shifted to the past, where an infant Vamola was abandoned in the midst of a brutal battle. A woman named Banga found and rescued Vamola, raising her as her own child.
Banga, a practical woman, taught Vamola everything she needed to survive in harsh conditions. Eventually, Banga introduced Vamola to paintings of the god of the Sumerian race, the Great Kaiju. Despite despising God for the suffering inflicted upon the Sumerians, Banga prayed fervently for survival and was willing to sacrifice others if necessary.
