The Movie adaptation of the Video game 'Five Nights at Freddy's' by Jason blum is set to be Released on October 27, 2023, just in Time for halloween following a long Production Cycle.
Blum Announced the release Date on twitter Stating that the movie Will be Released simultaneously in theaters and on the peacock Streaming Service, just like Some of his Previous Films including 'Halloween Ends' From 2022.
The Road to the release of the 'Five Nights at Freddy's' movie has Been bumpy with Several setbacks since it was First Announced in 2015.
The movie Was initially pulled from Production by Warner bros. and New Line cinema before Blumhouse acquired the rights in 2017. Harry Potter director chris columbus was originally set to direct, with blum and the game's Creator scott Cawthon serving as producers. However cawthon Later scrapped the Screenplay in 2018, stating that it did not match his Vision for the movie.
Columbus then left the Project, and blumhouse had to find a new Director in emma tammi. After a lengthy Wait, filming finally began in February 2023, with matthew lillard and Josh Hutcherson cast in leading roles.
Despite the challenges faced by the production team, Cawthon remained determined to ensure that the right movie was Made, or no movie at all.
