In the third episode of KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, Megumin and Yunyun from the series became closer as they attempted to introduce Bukkororii to Soketto. They went to Soketto's house, where she was seen training. However, Megumin and Yunyun considered leaving due to the odds, but Bukkororii offered them a free meal. Megumin came up with a plan to help Bukkororii get a chance to speak with Soketto, but he ruined it with his perversion.

At that moment, a group of monsters attacked, and Bukkororii tried to impress Soketto by using an advanced magic spell to fight them off, but Soketto got caught up in the battle too.

Later, Soketto offered Bukkororii a free fortune reading, which he saw as an opportunity to learn about his future lover. However, no one appeared in Soketto's crystal ball, leaving Bukkororii heartbroken as he ran away from the fortune teller's house. But later, Soketto revealed that the crystal ball did not show any answers involving the fortune-teller, hinting that Bukkororii's future lover could still be out there.

In another scene, Megumin and Yunyun were talking about romance when their teacher warned them about low-level monsters lurking in the area and urged them not to go home alone. While Dodonka and Funifura invited Yunyun to join them, she decided to go home with Megumin instead.
