Synopsis of Suzume 

Suzume, a 17-year-old girl, meets a strange man who is hunting for a specific door. Eventually, the couple discovers the special door in a lengthy Highland mansion. Suzume is drawn implacably in the handle's general direction.

 By going through the door, this young child opens a portal to the unknown, and shortly after, doors of a similar design start to appear all throughout Japan.
